Madrona Fiber Arts

What a privilege to be invited to teach and take classes at Madrona Fiber Arts! The focal point of the event is to improve the skills of fiber artists and promote the education in history and technique in crafts like knitting, crochet, and spinning. The creative energy is incredible!

For two consecutive days I was taking Jean Wong’s class in Tailored Knitting the Japanese Way. Finally I have learned how to design my own pattern to fit my own measurements. Not an easy task, but I cannot wait to start to knit my cardigan!

On the last two days I taught my most popular classes with great enthusiasm. Madrona students are highly educated and prepared for classes!

Suzzane does a wonderful job in making us fell welcome and well accommodated. The hotel Murano is not only beautiful and fun, but has excellent food and service. I hope to be back again!
